Island Project Town Meeting
The Island Planning Committee of Marshall NC STEP would like to invite the public for a presentation of the Town of Marshall's Blennerhassett Island Park plan. The Island Planning Committee will present the project plan for the purpose of securing public comment on Thursday, January 15th at 6:00 p.m. at The Depot. Curious to how this went?
Is it Blennerhassett Island or Blannahassett Island?
It's been spelled about five different ways. The oldest way is Blennerhassett, the current post office official spelling lists it as Blannahasset. Someone decided to switch back to the old way just to keep things confusing!
