It appears that some sort of rift has occurred between the DIY Network and the Preserve Communities, where DIY's Blog Cabin is located. Rumor has it that the Blog Cabin Tours are a dead deal.
It sucks that this has occurred - with Cam putting in so much work into the tours and his efforts at involving the local community. It blows too.
I, for one, appreciate Cam's efforts on behalf of the community and his trying his utmost to pass the potential benefits of having DIY's Blog Cabin located here, on to the residents, charities and artists of Madison County (I won't mention the bridges).
Our not so trusted blog reporter, Severed Erichikai is on his way to the Scripps Networks' headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee by way of a Mary Jane patch on Max Patch, to ascertain what the real lowdown on the situation is. If he ever returns or reports back in to us, we will file his full report on the situation as it un-develops.

What are you guys smoking or drinking up there? Where can I get some of whatever it is?
Why can't we all just get along?
On the Blog Cabin web site it now says that the winner will be given $500,000 "in lieu of the cabin" so that they can build a cabin like the one featured on the show. In the contest rules it says that the winner will be given property in Marshall, NC. Is this property in the same development as the blog cabin? If not, anyone know where this piece of property might be?
