I welcome submissions to the Marshall Blog and try to post as many events as my time will allow. To submit your event please write up your copy in an email (proofread it) and mail it along with any photos (less than 100k per) to benwalters.nc (you know the symbol) gmail.com.

Please do not submit text generated or pasted from Microsoft Word - it literally can take up to a half an hour to clean up all the superfluous tags generated by Word which will make the posts' wack.

If you are an organization which has regular events please drop me an email and I'll add you to folks allowed to post to the blog. Thanks! - Ben

Dance Poll Results

The final tally is in for suggestions for music films at the Neighborhood Studio during French Broad Fridays. The top vote getters were;

1. Roxy Music Live at the Apollo
2. Standing In the Shadows of Motown
3. Elvis; the '68 Christmas Television Special

Summer Sounds Poll Results

Rolling thunder, Katydids & Cicadas were the top 3 vote getters for favorite summer sounds. The favorite man made sound was for hammocks rocking. Cars burning rubber got no votes, sorry all you teenagers and drag race wannabes. The Mocking Bird's good for several rounds but all night long?? They got four votes.
