M is for Marshal, Maria and McClain.
“Deep End “ was made for me because it brings back so many beautiful mental icons that trigger brief moments in time spent in Marshal.
During the filming of (Presidents) a motion picture with Jack lemon and James Garner my new Buick broke down in Mars on a trip from Florida to Tennessee.
GM sent my car to Marshal for repairs---
Other wise I would never have heard about Marshal.
When I viewed this Movie “Deep End’ with the beautiful actress, Ester Fisher I was enchanted by the smooth delivery of a complex situation involving grinder boy , toy merry go rounds, and of course the pool.
The cigarette dialogue as well as the quick rear flash of the wedding dress were all done with great
restraint and good taste.
My memory of an accidental one night stand in the ancient hotel overlooking the French Broad River as well as the Court House Dome is reinforced by this remarkable film.
